Post pregnancy I was diagnosed with arthritis and struggled severely with my lower back and hips, particularly left (where I suffered from recurrent bursitis). I commenced rehab training with David Craig in August of 2020 with the aim of alleviating these issues and to hopefully get stronger and fitter.
With David’s unique and holistic way of delivering sessions: catering to the individual, relating and applying to real life and relevant scenarios, and teaching of what health and fitness really (and should) mean, I made immense progress; beyond my expectations!
Not only did I get stronger and fitter, I rediscovered my love of playing tennis, could dance again (even in stilettos), started running and discovered a new sport I am obsessed with: padel tennis. I even learnt to snowboard, despite it being “out of my comfort zone.

David's immense 360 degree knowledge got me from not being able to even jog without severe pain, to being able to run over 5km per session. The most impressive part of this is how he took an overall approach rather than the tunnel vision approaches I'd received before from individual experts who only focussed on the narrow knowledge set they had.
He was dedicated to getting me to my goal, and he got a true understanding of my ailments across my body not just at the point of pain. Kun addition he understood my life situation to better fit my rehab and recovery in so well.
Over and above all of this, it was an enjoyable experience despite the uphill struggle we had a good rapport and that made the challenges far easier to stomach.

I started working with Profero following an initial injury from a horse fall that quite literally changed my life and lifestyle for the worse. I had tried everything, physios, osteos, etc. David is very personable and made the sessions fun, we started with pool work and then developed to in the gym, it’s been a journey! He will push you, just enough to ensure progress but not too much that you dread coming next time. He takes a lot of care understanding how things have been between sessions and adapts exercises to accommodate that. I finally feel like I found what I spent 2 years looking for, to get some progress and I’ve got a point where my body is feeling much better and where I was starting to lose hope about getting back to.
